Brick Paver Reads: In Memory of Bernice “Bea” Mutchler, LPN.

In Memory of Bernice MutchlerTestimonial from Mike & Sandy Mutchler

We purchased the paver in memory of our Mother, Bernice“Bea” Mutchler. She loved working at the hospital. She started working there as an aide and went back to school to become an LPN. I can remember as a young boy helping her with her studies by trying to pronounce those long and hard medical words. She always got them right, even if I couldn’t say them very well.

In the late sixties and early seventies, my Mom went from working at the hospital to almost living there. She was diagnosed with cancer. She lost her fight in the spring of 1972 to that dreaded disease. To this day, when I tell people my name at the hospital, some will still ask if I was related to “Bea” and that she was a wonderful person. The brick paver at the hospital’s new center only seemed fitting for our Mom.

Thanks Mom, we love you!
