A mammogram is an X-ray of the breast. Mammography is performed to detect abnormalities or to provide a baseline reference for later comparison. In April of 2010, Memorial Hospital opened the Auxiliary of Memorial Hospital Women’s Diagnostic Center, which features digital mammography in Fremont Ohio for the first time.
