Employee Emergency Fund
Created by employees for employees; established through the Foundation the Employee Emergency Fund aids fellow coworkers with unforeseen and unexpected emergencies, including fires, floods and sudden serious illnesses.
A committee meets as needed to review applications for funds to cover expenses such as medical and emergency housing repairs.
To date, the fund has helped 38 employees pay for their health insurance, utility bills, car payments, medical bills, mortgage payments and many other needed things, thanks to the generosity of their fellow employees. Read about Wendy Balusey’s story.
