Memorial Hospital Laboratory associates are committed to providing the best possible patient care by delivering accurate and reliable test results in as timely a manner as possible.
The hospital’s lab is a full-service laboratory with state-of-the-art equipment a comprehensive range of testing services. The lab’s staff work hand-in-hand with physicians, nurses, and other health care workers to diagnose and treat disease. The results of lab tests often catch a disease in its earliest stages when the possibility of cure is greatest and the treatment is least stressful.
In conjunction with BGSU, Lorain County Community College, Marion Community College and Terra Community College, the Memorial Hospital Lab is also a teaching facility, which helps train the laboratory technologists and technicians of the future.
Lab tests made easyThe Memorial Hospital Lab is staffed with on-site phlebotomists who can draw right at our labs. The lab also offers a daily courier service to pick up samples from any location in the community, including physician offices, extended care facilities and other health-care facilities.

Results
Results are called, faxed,mailed or hand delivered - per customer's request. Critical values are always called to appropriate persons as soon as they come off the lab's instruments.

The 32 member lab staff - which includes college educated and highly trained medical technologists and phlebotomists - has a combined 560+ years of experience.
