Medical Nutrition Therapy
Medical Nutrition Therapy is an outpatient nutritional counseling service that is offered to all ages ranging from pediatrics, to adolescents, to seniors. This service may be reimbursed from numerous health insurance companies. Counseling services may be for diagnoses which include cardiovascular disease, hypertension, diabetes, obesity, and weight loss. A physician referral is required. Diabetes Education and Support
Memorial Hospital's Diabetes Self-Management Education Program is certified by the American Diabetes Association. Our education is a multi-discipline program that includes educators who are pharmacists, RNs, dietitians, and a Certified Diabetes Educator. Room Service
Room Service is the patient meal program that is offered at Memorial Hospital. You may personally select and customize your food selections at meal times that are convenient for you. Our room service clerk will assist you with your menu selections and a volunteer will deliver your meal. All modified diets are calculated to meet the necessary nutritional requirements. Room service is available from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Mobile Meals
Mobile Meals is a home delivered meal service. The meals have been planned and prepared by the hospital's dietitian and dietary department. Individuals who may benefit from the home delivered meals include diabetics, persons who recently had surgery and are unable to cook for themselves, or family members who are confined to home and need assistance with maintaining a balanced diet.
