Compassionate, Experienced Caregivers

One of the most important features of the Memorial Mother and Baby Unit is our outstanding team of nurses.  Our staff is highly trained and experienced and many of our OB nurses have been in the department for years and have advanced training.  Most importantly, our nurses care about you and your baby.  In addition to making you and your baby as comfortable as possible, our nurses will answer your questions and provide instruction on many issues like newborn care, breastfeeding and adjusting to all the changes a new baby brings.

The obstetrical staff at Memorial works together with you and your doctor to personalize your birth plans so that you are as prepared as possible for the many options and decisions that you will face on delivery day.
