Our OT services help children meet their developmental milestones, such a grasping, feeding, reaching, attention span, visual tracking, drawing, coloring, dressing, handwriting, sequencing, completing puzzles, and organization of sensations, both tactile and environmental.
We also help seniors live the best and most independent life possible by addressing energy conservation, vision/hearing compensations, joint protection, upper body strengthening and range of motion.

MHCS' OT services assists people with developing the skills needed to return to work after an injury, some of these issues we assist with include:

- Adaptive equipment
- Assisting patients while re-learning activities of daily living.
- Ergonomics (body mechanics, joint protection, proper posture and office and job ergonomics)
- Home Assessments
- Lymphedema
- Neurological deficits (such as Cerebral Vascular Accidents (Stroke), Multiple Sclerosis, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (Lou Gehrig’s Disease), Traumatic Brain)
Our OT professionals provide both inpatient/ acute therapy as well as outpatient services. Memorial's therapists are trained in pediatrics, hand therapy and home health.
Memorial's occupational therapists see patients at each of Memorial's physical medicine locations in Fremont, Clyde and Gibsonburg. They also have offices at several local schools to assist students with fine motor skills and more.
